Hair for Hope is unique program of Kent Jacob Salon where people, like you, have the opportunity to “give back” simply by receiving any of the salon’s services. Hair for Hope was developed by owner, Stacey Kent-Jacob, out of a desire to use her local business to make a difference across the world. This program supports various causes ranging from local cancer patients to helping fund mission projects all over the world.

The Cancer Program of Mary Bird Perkins and St. Tammany Parish Hospital is partnering up with Kent Jacob Salon to participate in a parish-wide effort to fight cancer in our community. With October being nationally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we will be launching the Geaux Pink Campaign.

All net proceeds from this Campaign will benefit The Cancer Program of Mary Bird Perkins and St. Tammany Parish Hospital. Mary Bird Perkins has worked closely with St. Tammany Parish Hospital since opening its Covington center in 1998. Together, through a new and innovative partnership, The Cancer Program of Mary Bird Perkins and St. Tammany Parish Hospital will be providing comprehensive cancer care that strives to positively impact the lives of cancer patients and their families. Not only will patients have access to the full spectrum of vital cancer services and high quality cancer care, but it will be readily available where it matters most — close to home, friends and family.

This is a great way to be involved with what is going on in the community as well as showing their support for friends, family, and co-workers who have been affecting by this terrible disease.
